Pobailscoil Neasáin vs Grange Community School.

Yesterday’s school league hurling final was a very eventful match. Both teams battled it out for the trophy but Pobailscoil Neasáin came out on top.

The school looked very promising from the first whistle. Within the first five minutes, Mark Byrne scored two goals. From then on Pobailscoil Neasáin battled, not stopping until the end. Donncha Butler played a blinder in full back, catching and clearing any threatening sliotars that came in.
Ross O’Brien in right half back also battled for every ball. Cian Kelly and Evan Cumiskey played brilliantly in midfield, scoring every time they got a glimpse of the goal. Mark Byrne dominated the forward, winning every ball and put it in the net every time he got it.

Well done to Grange Community College for a good enjoyable game and congratulations to Pobailscoil Neasáin for bringing the trophy back to the school.
