Transition Year student Brown Lawani received a Gold Pope John Paul II award last Thursday night.

It was presented by Archbishop Diarmuid Martin.

The award was given for voluntary work and parish work completed by Brown last year. As part of the project he also had to write a reflection on his experience over his months of voluntary work.
