Pobalscoil Neasáin

Congratulations to Eoin O Meara (3rd year) who last Wednesday competed in a secondary school swimming gala. Eoin did extremely well winning three medals at the event. He placed second in the 100m Individual medley (front crawl, back crawl, breast stroke and butterfly. He came third in both the breast stroke and in the butterfly.

Eoin was asked to represent Ireland in a competition for the Irish deaf swim team but unfortunately, though pleased with the offer he had to turn it down as he will be doing his Junior Certificate in June!

Let's hope he is asked to represent Ireland again next year!
