What we do:

We meet once a month (usually 2nd Tuesday of the month) in the "Failte" room in the school @ 8pm. Duration of meetings usually 1- 1 1/2 hours depending on the agenda.

The Principal or Vice-Principal attend the meetings to communicate and liaise issues that are of interest to the parents association, and keep us informed and up to date on activities going on in the school. We have a parents representative on the Board of Management who reports back to our committee any relevant issues raised at Board meetings. Our Parents Representative this year is Susan O'Grady.

• We plan fundraising and social events to aid the school.

• We organise talks for parents on topics relevent and of interest to students and parents.

• We organise refreshments for special occasions in the school such as school graduations, carol service, talks, welcoming nights for new students & parents etc.

• We always welcome new ideas for fundraising, and social events. We have a list of parents who are helpers but don't wish to be on the committee. If you would like to help out please let us know.
